Coupons, Savings, Freebies.

OK so couponing nowadays seems to become more and more popular.  I admit that it has definitely peeked my curiosity and I've started searching online, magazines, sale flyers for the coupons.  I am also searching the sale flyers for the best deal out there. 

Of course, I'm in Canada and I'm way far of being next in line for the "Extreme Couponing" show but I realise there are alot of coupons and/or freebies available out there.

So far on my groceries (within this past month or so), I saved about $20 on groceries!  Is it alot?  Definitely not but its definitely a start and I would rather have that extra $20 in my pocket than the grocery store.  The other day, with a little bit of research, I was also able to save $100 on my iphone!  Yes, $100!!! 

So to say the least, I participate in those little surveys, contests, I do my research and do look for the best deal out there.  So far, I've also received many freebies such as laundry detergent, gum, ice cream, blister medication, women's personal products, and many more to come.

I have to admit that WOW, it is definitely time consuming... and I'm not "at it" as I was initially as I have tons of emails now coming up in my inbox and its actually hard to keep up.  Some deals are good, some are not, and some products I simply don't use. 

So for anybody wanting to start, I would recommend to create a separate email account to deal with your coupon researching alone.  I don't like getting all those emails in my account and now, I always have to clean my inbox daily as it piles up pretty fast.

So if you read this, do you have any sites to recommend?  Some that give out the best deals? 
I see people out there who have amazing skills at finding those deals.  I try my best and i've even emailed companies that I use alot and they gladly sent me coupons.  I was impressed! 

So now, I'd like to share a bit of those sites with you.  I'll copy the links below so you can add them to your favorites and view them.  I like the mail in coupons better as they are less of a hassle when coming time to step up at the cash register.  I hear that some stores do give problems when you try to use a printed coupon.  Although that hasn't happen to me once......  that's the rumor going around.  ;)

This site is P&G Sample for men.  They have coupons available and freebies but you have to be fast as they often run out but still able to find the occasional coupon.  It appears they do update their site too.

This site I haven't visited a whole lot but there are coupons available, people discuss the deals they found on sale flyers etc.  It helps to hear the other people's opinion to find the best deal.  ;)

This site, I like alot.  I'm registered to their email list so I always a daily email from them with the latest coupon deals, freebies available, or contest.  YES, I've also been entering alot of contest.  you can't win if you don't enter right???

This is another coupon site, where you select the coupons you are interested in and they mail them to you.  I know there is a limit per month but I am not sure what it is.  They do update their site pretty often as well.

There is also this site which I LOVE.  Alot of members helps you to start the coupon habit and share ideas, tips to get the best deal out there.  There are tabs for coupons, freebies, contests etc.  Really useful and site to have in your favorites.

What's the Bzzzz

OK, so I'm trying to introduce blogging in my life. 
I'm not sure how to start this and actually have some people following my blog but I am hoping with time, that people will join, read, comment, debate.  :)

This is what Blogging is all about isn't it?

I'm keeping it short, again, this is new and with my busy life, I'm not sure how dedicated I am in doing this nor do I know if its safe to post some information for the world to see.  :)

I do need to figure out the privacy settings on this...  ALOT of things have been going on with my accounts lately; password resets, locked out etc...  and I can only assume that my life is interesting enough for people to poke in it. 

So the point of this blog?
Well, I am hoping to post recipes, share thoughts, talk about real subjects, share new products that I will be trying out...  I will try my best to make it interesting for you to read and join in the debate.
